I served as a graphic design contractor within the PetSmart home office creative department in Phoenix, AZ, across multiple assignments spanning several years. Over the course of these engagements, I designed and executed a wide range of branded ‘store experience’ creative projects. This collection highlights the visual assets I produced to enhance the in-store shopping experience for PetSmart customers across the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.
AD RACK FLYERS
PETSMART PATIO EVENT BILLBOARD
Designed a dual-version digital billboard campaign for the PetSmart Patio at Chase Field to promote the 2016 D-backs ‘Dog Days of Summer’ series. The campaign centered on a Guinness World Record attempt for the ‘Most Dogs at a Sporting Event’ (May 1, 2016), which saw 858 dogs attend.
The deliverables included:
- Primary Billboard: Promoting the event and the record-breaking goal across metro Phoenix.
- Countdown Variant: A dynamic version designed to heighten anticipation as the event date neared.
HOLIDAY PROMOTION
For the PetSmart Holiday promotion, I served as the graphic designer responsible for bringing the Creative Director’s seasonal concept to life. I designed and prepared the final artwork for a range of in-store touchpoints, including window graphics welcoming Santa, bag stuffers, A-frame entrance signs, and festive endcap displays.
